Afghan Community Eid Celebration 2023

Nebraska Afghan Community Center(NACC) in coordination with Afghan Islamic and Cultural Community Organization(AICCO) organized Eid Celebration picnic on May 6th, 2023 at Lake Zorinsky. This event was opened to both Afghans and non-Afghan communities. The event was welcomed by a huge number of people. NACC and AICCO estimated more 600 people attended the picnic. 

To be mindful of cultural sensitive, Female members and male member accomodated seperatly, volunteers with name tags from the organization were making sure all the things are going well. Afghan owned businesses tables were sit in between male and female side for easy access. 

The park was cleaned by the volunteers after the event was concluded.
